About
What To Expect
We see patients based on the level of urgency. When pets arrive, we perform an initial assessment to gather the information the veterinarian needs to determine when they should be seen. As a result, pets with more critical conditions may be treated before others who arrived earlier.
Wait Times
Wait times in emergency settings can sometimes be lengthy. Being prepared for a potential wait can help make your visit more comfortable—consider bringing a phone charger, a book, or comfort items for your pet. Please don’t hesitate to ask a staff member if there’s anything we can do to help during your wait. We offer coffee and tea, as well as some entertainment items such as books and coloring pages for children.
Examination Fee
When you bring your pet in to be seen by a veterinarian, an examination fee does apply. This fee covers the veterinarian’s evaluation of your pet, a discussion of your concerns, and recommendations for diagnostic and treatment options. You are always in control of your pet’s care, and our goal is to provide you with clear information so you can make the best decisions for your pet.
Finances are an important part of emergency care. Each diagnostic test, service, or treatment has an associated cost that is separate from the examination fee. We value transparency and will provide detailed estimates for your review. Please take time to read each estimate carefully and ask questions so you fully understand the cost of care. For available payment options, please review our payment section. At this time, we do not offer payment plans.
Our Goal
Our staff works with your pet’s care and your experience in mind. Please inquire at any time you are unsure about either. Though we may have limitations out of our control, we’re here to help navigate this stressful time with you.
